Radiance Fields detailed how volumetric studio Arcturus reconstructed the 'Floor is Lava' sequence from a MrBeast video as a dynamic Gaussian splat, letting editors scout virtual camera moves after filming had wrapped. The capture used only 30 to 35 cameras per shot inside a plexiglass cube, relying on depth supervision and multiview-consistent pruning to handle the constant occlusion caused by fast-moving contestants. Eight takes were processed and three made the final cut. The video marked MrBeast crossing 500 million YouTube subscribers on June 12, 2026.
