The week experiential went pro
A Hollywood studio built a volume, consumer AR glasses opened reservations, and a major airline turned a beach into a brand. Different players, same bet: put people inside it.

A Hollywood studio bet the lot on virtual production
Tyler Perry Studios is building a virtual production soundstage with Synapse, pairing an LED volume, camera tracking and Unreal, ready by the end of 2026. It is built for everything from features to commercials to immersive experiences, and the studio pledged to keep the crews behind the camera.
Xreal opened paid reservations for the Aura, an Android first pair of XR glasses, signaling broader phone support for spatial apps later in 2026. The face computer keeps getting closer to something people actually wear all day.
Southwest brought back its Sunset on the Beach series, including a July event co branded with Coca-Cola around America 250. A real place, a real crowd, multisensory, the kind of moment a feed cannot fake.
Sixty seconds on a studio, a pair of glasses, and a beach. Watch before your next brief.
